The Little Bay Challenge is an individual and team racing event co-sponsored by the Portsmouth Boat Club. Boats race for individual honors as well as contributing to the score for overall team competition.
The Cape Charles Cup is a weekend event with Race 1 starting on Saturday from the Little Creek area and ending at Cape Charles. After food and trophies that evening, competitors race back on Sunday. More information is at CCCup.net.
BBSA's last race of the season, Neptune's Atlantic Regatta, is affiliated with Virginia Beach's Neptune Festival and is also a CBYRA-sanctioned event. Starting off Little Creek, racers transit the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel, sail down the coast, and finish off 24th street. After a night of fun at the Festival, participants leave the event's Rudee Inlet dockage and return home.

The Broad Bay Sailing Association is very active in PHRF sailboat racing in Hampton Roads. Sailors can enjoy weekly racing on Wednesday nights at Little Creek and Thursday nights on the Willoughby Bay in Norfolk (use links to the left). These races go from mid-April to late September.
