The 2026 race was canceled due high winds and heavy seas from the north.  

BBSA's last race of the season, Neptune's Atlantic Regatta, is affiliated with Virginia Beach's Neptune Festival. Starting off Little Creek, racers transit the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel, sail down the coast, and finish off 24th Street. New in 2026, participants may enjoy a day of fun at the Neptune Festival and Sunday afternoon Awards at the Surf and Rescue Museum. This event is part of the Southern Bay Distance Racing Series (SBDRS) .
