  The BBSA Board has decided to make the Crew Member of the Year an annual award.  Realistically, the Board cannot make that selection alone, because we do not know all the dedicated and talented crew members that race in our events.  

  We are asking skippers or a representative from each boat to submit nominations and provide a brief justification for your submission.  We apologize for the short notice, but we need your submissions by Thursday, January 15.

  Description: 

  John McCarthy will present/discuss Rule 18 - Mark Rounding.
  In his unique style, John will discuss the details of right-of-way at the mark. All racers have been in nail-biting situations when rounding marks. Learn who has right of way, when it is established and when it ends. A great opportunity to share experiences and learn from a pro.

  NEW~ Bold Mariner has an amazing menu, including gourmet flatbread pizza. Check out their new menu at https://theboldmariner.com/pages/new-menu.  We are going to pre-order a quantity of their flatbread pizzas, so please specify how many you want for your party when you register.  The slices are bigger and better than the normal pizza, so each portion is $5.  Please pre-order but pay at the door.  

  You can also order directly from Bold Mariner when you arrive, if you prefer.  That may involve a longer turnaround time.  

  NOTE:  Their new food service is called the Mess Deck, so be sure you are looking at that menu.
