Ed and Aimee Darling are hosting a cruise to Yorktown Riverwalk Landing for the annual Pirate Invasion.  There will be many activities in town as well as a happy hour on the dock hosted by Ed and Aimee on Saturday. Don't forget, make marina reservations and let Ed and Aimee know you are planning to come.  There have been some cancellations, so check with Harbormaster Sue to see if any slips are available. If you cannot make it at the last minute, be sure to let Sue (and Ed and Aimee) know. The weather is a little iffy Friday, so depending on when you are going, you will want to check the forecast.

Just FYI, the pumpout is not working at the moment. They hope to have it fixed by the weekend, but you may want to pump out before you come.

NOTE: There can be strong currents in the marina area depending on the tide, so plan your entry accordingly. The staff is very helpful with entry advice and getting your boat secured, so Harbormaster Sue has asked that we call 10 minutes ahead of entering the harbor. She and her team will guide boats in one at a time and get them secured to their proper berths.  Please do not enter the marina without contacting her first.

HYC members get 10% off dock price. However, they must have their membership card present. Also mention you are with the BBSA/HYC cruise so that Sue can try to put us together.
