BBSA's October Membership Meeting will be held at Bold Mariner Brewing Company at 6 pm.  We will take a few minutes to present the
Bold Mariner Cup to the winners of the BBSA Championship.  Afterward, our own Doug Rose will provide some basic diesel maintenance tips and training.  

Doug Rose bought his first sailboat in 1973, a 19' cuddy cabin day sailor, and has owned sailboats ever since. Currently owns a 39' Cal berthed at Hampton YC. Began sailing on Raritan Bay, NJ, followed by several years in S. California in the 70's, Long Island Sound, CT in the 80s and early 90s, and the Chesapeake Bay for the last 30 plus years. He has been racing since the late 1970s in Calif, and has cruised to and from Hawaii, Bermuda, the Caribbean, the Bahamas and numerous trips up and down the East coast.

He spent his career working in engine related businesses. The first ten years with Kawasaki Motor Corp. USA, and the last 30 years with Volvo Penta of the Americas. He was involved with dealership technical training, product management, all sorts of technical sales, and boat builder application engineering. He worked with and advised power and sailboat builders all over N America on propulsion package selection, installation and testing.

We will bring pizza which you can pre-order at $5 per 2 slices.  Please register in advance and provide an estimate of pizza slices for your party.
