Ahoy, Little Creek Racers! The 2026 racing season is approaching fast, with our first race set for April 8, 2026!

The LCR Season Kick Off and Awards Ceremony is scheduled for
Sunday March 29th from 4-6 PM. The ceremony will be held at the Bay Point Condo Association Club. Please register, so we have an idea how much food and drinks to purchase. LCR will purchase fried chicken and drinks; please bring a side dish to complement the fried chicken.

Please take a moment to renew your membership with both Broad Bay Sailing Association (BBSA) and LCR as soon as possible.  Join/Renew

Mark Flaherty and I must verify all boats are qualified to race so please don’t wait.  Your membership helps us coordinate and prepare for another great season of competitive racing. Additionally, make sure your PHRF Chesapeake handicap certificate is up to date and valid for the full season. The Notice of Race will be published this week, so stay tuned for all the details!

This year, I will use text as primary means of notifying skippers when a race is cancelled.  Skippers should respond with "OK & Boat Name;"  that helps me know which boats I need to call to ensure they received the cancellation.  Skippers are responsible for passing the cancellation on to their crew members.
